The True Family Women’s Cancer Center offers the next generation of patient centered care in a warm and welcoming environment that provides a haven of support for women with cancer and their families. An innovative and nationally renowned program provides a mix of traditional and alternative care services to create deliberate synergies among diverse specialties through collaborative and comprehensive patient care strategies and research and treatment methodologies that enable a better patient experience, and seeks to enhance outcomes through a multi-disciplinary approach to care. The inspiration for the Center began with the realization that women respond differently to traditional cancer treatments, have different survival rates for different types of cancer, and have a different way of dealing with cancer emotionally. The Center is attuned to these differences and brings together a team that specializes in all facets of women’s cancer in order to honor the roles a woman plays in the lives of her loved ones and give her the best possible chance of survival.

Located on two floors within the Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood, the Center’s comprehensive programs include Medical Oncology, Breast Imaging Services, Breast Surgery Clinic, Multi-Disciplinary Clinic, High-Risk Clinic, Cancer Rehabilitation Services, Oncology Social Work, Naturopathic Medicine, Nutrition Services, Psychiatry Services, Genetic Counseling, Massage Therapy, and a variety of other support and educational services.
