Connectivity, creativity, professionalism and community are the pillars of designing a high impact career academy. When strong curriculum meets responsive architecture–the result is a truly remarkable educational environment. Cedar Ridge High School is an example of what can happen when regionally responsive modern design meets a progressive educational program.

The educational program is organized into four career academies: Academy of International Business and Economics, Academy of Professional Studies, Academy of Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, and the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts. Each Academy contains individual distributed media centers, administration suites, and teacher planning areas. The four academies are set in an outdoor courtyard at the heart of the campus that provides secure, flexible space for circulation, break-out learning, and school and community-wide multipurpose functions.

Cedar Ridge High School utilizes regional materials such as natural limestone alongside concrete to create a sophisticated, non-traditional aesthetic. Cedar Ridge High School is a LEED certified facility.
