Denver Broncos Football Club, Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse at UCHealth Training Facility

Englewood, Colorado

The Denver Broncos Football Club is focused on excellence on and off the field. Echoing the Broncos’ focus on excellence, the design team was selected through a design competition. The proposed design responded to the Club’s goals of creating the best indoor practice facility in the league, creating great amenities for training camp spectators, and creating a signature building for their otherwise nondescript headquarters complex.

To add another arrow to their competitive quiver, they envisioned an indoor practice facility to allow them to practice continuously through all elements of the unpredictable Colorado weather. Having recently moved their training camp to their headquarters, they also needed to develop a facility that would cater to the thousands of fans who come to watch practice on warm summer days. Hospitality, retail, media/studio space, restrooms, and seating areas augmented the new practice/training facility. The building has received rave reviews from the Broncos players and management—it is wholly representative of their culture of excellence in everything they do.
