We partnered with a leading financial services client to develop a workplace strategy and new client-facing brand strategy that supports the business goals of a newly emerging business unit.
To develop workplace standards, the team organized a fast-track process that employed interactive work sessions and facilitated focus groups, observation trip-mapping studies, staff surveys and management interviews. Working with existing furniture guidelines, we developed alternative configurations and interpretations of base workplace components that responds to evolving workstyles. Based on that strategy, we developed one of the new group's key organizational assets, a Customer Briefing Center.
The Center for Applied Technology reflects the client's brand, strategic vision and mission to deliver unrivaled financial services to their worldwide client base. The space is organized as a "neighborhood" of concentrated, collaborative zones providing flexible, adaptable and updatable demonstrations. The design celebrates the client's capabilities and technologies via an information-rich environment that is as interactive as it is innovative.
The centrally located Demonstration Showcase is an "incubator" of new ideas around which visitors circulate and interact. Clad in translucent resin, the curvilinear wall thickness conceals a flexible infrastructure to accommodate changing technology, integrating messaging content, product displays and lighting effects to create an integrated, brand-driven user experience.
