With more than 35 years of architectural design experience, Bill serves as a regional leader for Science + Technology. He established his own award-winning architectural firm Signer Harris Architects in 1989, committed to providing a mission-driven approach to architecture which resulted in the success of the firm and contributed to the success of his clients. This approach now helps to shape Perkins+Will’s Science + Technology practice, and combined with a primary focus on integrating strategic planning with architecture and interior design, allows Bill to discover and implement innovative architectural solutions for a broad range of clients and project types.
Bill’s projects have received awards from the American Institute of Architects, Boston Society of Architects, CoreNet New England, and the Association of General Contractors. His design work and theories have been published in Architecture, Architectural Record, Metropolis, Home and Design Times magazines, R&D Magazine, Laboratory Design magazine, several trade publications, and the Boston Business Journal. He has presented at the AIA National Convention, Build Boston Conference, IFMA, Tradeline, and the Association of Independent Research Institution (AIRI) Conference.
