Patrick Glenn, AIA, REFP, LEED AP, Principal, is the K12 Regional Practice Leader for Perkins+Will in Texas and currently works in the Dallas office. With close to two decades of educational leadership, planning and architectural design experience spanning a wide range of projects, Patrick is known for his ability to listen to specific client needs and provide design solutions based on his understanding of the critical issues facing school districts and educational facilities. He has contributed to more than 60 educational projects during his career – including the award-winning Cedar Ridge High School, Hector P. Garcia Middle School, Rosemont Elementary School and St Alcuin Montessori School – and has gained a unique expertise that fosters creative, organized and long-term design strategies to enhance the student learning environment.
Patrick had served as a repeat design jurist for the School of Architecture at Oklahoma State University and continues to mentor young professionals in the classroom and the workplace. He is an active member of CEFPI - Southern Region, and serves as a Board Member for the organization’s North Texas Chapter. Patrick is a regular author and conference presenter on the subject of innovative, sustainable school planning strategies that facilitate higher student performance and collaborative learning. Patrick is also currently a Board Member for the Dallas Center for Architecture and is the co-creator and current committee chairman for the DCFA’s Form Follows Fitness 5K, which has raised over $100,000 to support the foundation’s mission of promoting the public’s understanding of the role of design and architecture in our daily lives.
