Elina is an award-winning, multidisciplinary interior architect and designer, leading the interiors practice of Perkins+Will's Miami office. She has more than 20 years of international design experience in luxury retail, hospitality, civic, cultural, corporate, education, and residential projects. With a strong conceptual design background, a modern aesthetic, and a focus on social responsibility, she is known for partnering with clients to create branded solutions that emphasize sustainability.
She has a Master of Architecture from the Columbia University School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Design of the Environment from the University of Pennsylvania. Cardet has taught at the Guggenheim and Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museums and has lectured at the Envirodesign 7 and 8 Conferences and at Parsons School of Design.
