Orlando Sentinel: Osceola County takes a peek at potential NeoCity plans

A concept for a new, sprawling, high-tech campus made up of dozens of solar-powered buildings along streets used by driverless cars and anchored by a recently completed advanced sensor-research facility has Osceola County commissioners thinking big.

Officials on Monday were shown a master plan of what could eventually become a 482.5-acre development called NeoCity.

They hope it invigorates the area, attracts tourists and highly paid workers and, eventually, makes Kissimmee a destination location for large companies interested in high-tech research.
