Next generation Perkins+Will thought leaders continue to showcase their accomplishments out of the firm’s New York office, where talents like Breeze Glazer and Aleksandar Spasojevic are making names for themselves in the New York metro area.
Breeze, a sustainable design expert and senior associate who co-leads the firm’s sustainable healthcare practice, was recognized in the October issue of Building Design + Construction (BD+C) for being one of its “smart, driven, well-rounded superstars” in BD+C’s “40 Under 40 Class of 2016”. With a laser-sharp focus on sustainability, Breeze is passionate about redefining the role and impacts of the built environment on human and ecological health. While his projects span the globe, Breeze was instrumental in the design of Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the New York City Police Academy, both in New York City.
Aleksandar Spasojevic, a Serbian-born senior interior designer who joined Perkins+Will’s New York office this year, has already made an indelible mark by being named to the top “15 Architects, Construction Pros and Engineers Under 35" by Commercial Observer. In just four months, Aleksandar has been working with premiere corporate interiors clients both overseas and in the greater New York area. After founding L’Enfant Terrible Design Studio in his home country, where he previously worked on interior office designs and branding ideas and materials, Aleksandar moved to New York City and is an integral member of our team.
